Pro v Amateur Fighting
In this examination game from 1977, Tomita Tadao 7p gives a 3 stone handicap to a young but strong Taiwanese amateur, Tei Meiko, who became pro a couple years later. This position shows one reason why pros are hard to beat, i.e., pros see everything you see, and quite a few moves farther. Up to this position, Black had been playing every move at lightning speed. But for his next move, Black suddenly stops to think.
